TCV Systems Engineer Level 5 - DFW Texas Staffing - 9/26/2019
Job Description: - Perform technical consultation to improve the effectiveness of tactical intelligence systems as a team member responsible for assessing Tactical SIGINT Systems found on a variety of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, ships and ground platforms used by US and allied armed forces. - Work with government and contractors to improve tactical SIGINT system effectiveness by assessing Interoperability, Connectivity, Modernization, Security and Supportability (ICMSS); assess standards implementation; evaluate documentation; and participate in technical reviews at key acquisition phases. - Work with senior Department of Defense and Intelligence Community acquisition engineers and user representatives to identify ICMSS risks and opportunities in the architectural designs of those systems. - With minimal, high-level direction, working independently or as a member of a small team, conduct system-of-systems interoperability and technical assessments of the design and operating environment of systems based on validated effectiveness criteria. Recommend actions based on the findings in formal Assessment Reports or frequent informal technical communications. - Work with the acquisition community, military Service Cryptologic Components of the US and our Allies, and industry stakeholders to maintain expert knowledge of current and emerging SIGINT solutions and understand the technical challenges related to tactical SIGINT interoperability within the 5-Eyes partners. - Work with teammates to develop and maintain a model interrelating requirements, system capabilities, technology implementation, and standards. Contribute to the refinement of ICMSS system effectiveness criteria in the context of emerging system’s architecture and requirements. - Participate in various SIGINT Working Groups; prepare and review technical assessments; and review SIGINT technologies. Individual Capabilities Required: A Systems Engineer 5 must have a High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a Related Discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience OR a Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a Related Discipline2 from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience. To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: - Prior military SIGINT systems hands-on experience. - Ability to review and analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, system architecture and requirements specifications. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to comfortably interact with all levels of organizational management, be willing to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision, and possess strong interpersonal, problem solving, and decision-making skills. - Technical and people skills necessary to collaborate with customers, subject matter experts, and senior technical and programmatic leadership. - Knowledge of operational SIGINT data flows. An ACTIVE security clearance is required: TS/SCI with Polygraph: - Qualified Engineering fields: (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) - Related Disciplines: (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) Individual Capabilities Desired: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: - Multi-service, multi-intelligence background. - Experience with system acquisition requirements, technical requirements documents, and reviews. - Familiarity with system design document preparation and JROC architecture products - Familiarity with DoDAF v2.0 is highly desired.

Responsibilities: Assurance that personnel within the Team are competent, identify inadequacies in personnel and propose solutions such as training, coaching or replacement and that the correct competent personnel are matched to the task at hand Responsibility for the integration of the electrical design into the overall project work-scope and ensuring that Commissioning, Maintenance, and Operational requirements are included within the design Maintain the required technical quality of work produced by discipline assigned staff Ensure that the work output of discipline assigned staff complies with the relevant procedures Provide technical assistance to discipline staff as required Responsible for input to project plans and schedules, achievement of agreed schedule, during the course of any project or study or early identification of project areas of concern with necessary corrective action identified Keep up-to-date with technical developments, state, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the scope of the discipline Assist in developing the knowledge and skills of the discipline assigned staff, including assisting in the training and technical development of engineers Be aware and understand the business drivers within the Client organization and how these can be influenced by innovated designs and minimum cost solutions Approval of all engineering documents created by the Electrical team (inclusive of PE responsibilities) Review work/work output of discipline assigned staff as required Prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules Ensure that results of any development work are fully utilized in discipline activities Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required Participate in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required Producing engineering deliverables schedule and controlling the works against those schedules Supervision of Team under their control, & responsibility for the technical quality of work produced by team Requirements: BS degree in Electrical Engineering 10+ year''s experience in a consulting engineering firm or 15+ years of applicable experience in electrical design. Required skills & experience (the 4 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Certified as a Surgical Technologist. 2. Education: High School education or equivalent preferred. Graduate of an approved surgical technologist course. 3. At least 7 years of experience required as a certified surgical technologist with completion of approved Surgical First Assist Program. 4. Completion of practicum with a minimum of 300 cases. What you need to know - This is a full-time, on-site position with strong visibility into the hospital C-suite. Positional overview - A Surgical First Assist is a member of the patient care team, who is assisting under the direct supervision of the surgeon while at the same time providing assistance to the physician performing surgery.
