The Courtyard Fayetteville located at 4192 Sycamore Dairy Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303 is currently hiring a Server-Cook (AM Shift).

Responsibilities include: Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking equipment doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Take orders from customers, input orders into micros, and obtain payment and provide change. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Prepare food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Process all orders and collect payment from customers. Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Gather and record all necessary information on incoming raw materials as required by plants HACCP Program. Incoming product temperature. Quantity and weight against P.O. amounts. Condition of product. Lot numbers of product. Organoleptic inspection Carrier inspection report. Keeping shipping and storage areas neat and clean of all debris. Report any damaged or spoiled product with an explanation and all facts. Keep truck clean. Inform steak cutters when boxed beef cases come in so that they can be properly rotated & put away. Any other duties assigned by production manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications: 18+ years of age Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check). Ability to perform mathematical calculations and conversions to determine amounts and sizes of products needed for orders. Basic reading and writing skills. CDL Class A license or willing to obtain. Preferred Qualifications: 6 months experience in production setting BASIC EDUCATION: Less than high school education. SKILLS: Must have accurate paperwork skills. Must be able to perform simple math calculations. Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Computer skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
