What You''ll Be Doing The Traffic Engineering Design Manager''s responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Collaborate with other members of client''s Design Team Manage all aspects of traffic engineering design Represent the client professionally with all clients throughout Pennsylvania Provide design oversight and support for traffic engineering tasks Job Qualifications Qualifications include: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure required, PTOE Licensure preferred 10+ years of experience in some or all of the following disciplines: Traffic and Signal Operations Analysis, Traffic Modeling and Simulation, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic, and ITS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience using Microstation, SYNCHRO, and SimTraffic required. Our client is seeking a SENIOR BRIDGE & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to assist in bridge and transportation structures design. This position’s responsibilities will include performing analysis, design, and preparation of construction plans, specifications, and estimates for bridges, as well as other types of transportation structures. The responsibilities will extend to Project Engineer level on selected projects. Typical projects might include bridge (steel plate girder, curved girder, pre-stressed concrete, and post-tensioned concrete), box culvert, and retaining wall design. The candidate selected for this position shall satisfy the following: Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural engineering coursework. Professional Engineering License is a plus. Experience: 10 + years of bridge design and engineering experience. Experience with NCDOT and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Code. Familiarity with bridge design and analysis software. Familiarity with Microstation.
