The Southern Southeast Sales Force located at 400 Atlanta Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339 is currently hiring a Administrative Assistant - Sales.

Responsibilities include: Provide administrative and customer support for assigned sales managers. Coordinate payroll files and Paid Time Off (PTO) submission for managers. Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process. Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests. Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, and documents. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. Follow all company policies and procedures, verify uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Responsibilities include: The Bistro at Courtyard is a chic, fast-casual concept restaurant offering an eclectic menu including a variety of refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down fare including cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our Bistro Team Members master a wide variety of food & beverage functions, from serving coffee and other beverages (including alcohol), to preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. This position processes all orders and collects payment from customers, and provides assistance in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests. This position also performs general cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas, counts the bank at end of shifts, and follows property control audit standards and cash handling procedures. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintains confidentiality of proprietary information, and protects company assets. Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards, anticipates and addresses guests’ service needs, assists individuals with disabilities, and thanks guests with genuine appreciation. Responsibilities include: Provide professional, courteous and efficient presentation of food and beverage service to all guests. Clean and set up tables in the outlet and perform other food service related duties, including general cleaning and set up.
