Fleet Trailer Mechanic - $31++ per hour - Confidential - 5/29/2019
We are one of the largest industry leading Trucking companies and we are currently looking for experienced Mechanics to join our team or professionals at our Johnstown, NY location close to I-87 and Ballard Rd Overview You will Troubleshoot and Repair Medium to Heavy Trucks and Trailers including Refrigerated Trailers. Perform safety and regular maintenance related repairs, aid with major repairs alongside advanced level mechanics and use basic electrical diagnostics to repair electrical systems. Position Requirements Solid track record of superior customer service skills; valid Drivers license; ability to read and understand repair manuals, ability to complete/fill tags and repair orders and basic computer skills. Dealer experience helpful. Required Education High School Diploma GED or graduation from trade/technical school preferred. Additional technical school education may substitute for required experience. Required Experience Two (2) years of heavy equipment/mechanic related experience. Completion of Swift 3M Packet may substitute for one (1) year of required experience. Must possess the skills required to accomplish the essential job duties. General Purpose of the Job Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Account Manager is responsible for establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
