General Purpose of the Job
Directs tool makers to analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricated and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises the activities of tool and die makers in performing the following tasks as well as personally performing them.
Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations.
Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining.
Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
Lifts machined parts and positions and secures parts on surface plate or work table.
Smooths flat and contoured surfaces and power grinders, and fits and assembles parts together and into assemblies and mechanisms.
Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
Heat treats tools or parts.
Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part.
Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product.
Comply with requirements as outlined in the company handbook and the OHSA.
Practice good housekeeping.
Other duties that may be assigned.
Responsible for the assigned die makers.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include but not limited to; training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
Two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: The High Lift Stocker is responsible for keeping the floors fully stocked with produce. High Lift Stocker must follow proper rotation duties and place all products received in its appropriate rack.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rotates all products located in the coolers daily.
Keeps the coolers free of empty pallets at all times.
Keeps the floors stocked with product at all times and in a timely manner.
Keep pallets free of tape, wrap and wires.
Adheres to all safety rules.
Good attendance and adherence to the work schedule. May be required to work overtime.
Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager, Day/Night Warehouse or designee.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Product knowledge preferred.
Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work with others in a professional manner.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of vigorous forklift / high lift driving experience.
Frequent lifting of product up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
Must be able to work in confined spaces
Must be able to continually stand throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
Combination of Warehouse and outside environments.
Must work in extreme temperatures ranging from extreme cold to extreme hot.
