The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa located at 6902 E Greenway Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ, 85254 is currently hiring a Bellman.

Bellman Responsibilities include: Test beepers and radios to ensure communications equipment works properly. Place requested items such as rollaway beds and refrigerators in guest rooms. Deliver extra towels, bathrobes, and other items to guest rooms. Provide complimentary toiletries to guests, such as toothpaste, razors, and shampoo. Deliver items (e.g., messages, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, sundry items, gift items) to guest rooms. Deliver rollaways, cribs, linens, toiletries, and other items requested by guests to guest rooms. May deliver food, beverage or other amenities and assemble orders to go. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa located at 6902 E Greenway Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ, 85254 is currently hiring a Spa Massage Therapist- Part Time.

Spa Massage Therapist- Part Time Responsibilities include: Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products. Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy. Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service. Keep up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms. Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes. Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service. Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift. Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Handle inappropriate guest behavior by following Marriott International standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to and including stopping a treatment or service and informing supervisor/manager. Maintain current skills and licensure in service area as per regional requirements.Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; make sure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide safe, reliable and cost efficient MHE by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as well as performing expert diagnosis and repair as required to prevent breakdowns, reduce MHE down time and improve total fleet reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance MHE (Lift Trucks, Pallet Jacks, Order Pickers, Mini-Loader) to maximize the safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of MHE, Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all MHE, perform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all MHE.
• Perform maintenance repairs on all MHE such as inspections, scheduled repairs, and malfunctions in a safe, efficient, and quality manner to include, but not limited to: Addressing all VIR write ups in a timely manner, Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to MHE components.
• Document all work performed on Work Order (SAP) using Complaint, Cause, and Correction Format
• Learn & develop efficiency in all Maintenance Relates Sysco Computer programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and / or Experience:

• High school diploma or Equivalent
• Mechanical/Maintenance Technical Training 2 year school
• Either 1 Year Experience with 2 Year Technical Degree or 3 years’ experience in MHE Maintenance and Repair

Professional Skills:

• Basic Knowledge and skill of all MHE Systems and Components
• Basic knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment
• Basic knowledge and skill in welding and cutting (gas, electric, MIG, TIG)
• Physical demands to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and crawl
• Vision abilities to include Close & Distance vision, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

• Crown Certified Training Certification
• Raymond Certified Training Certification
