POSITION SUMMARY: FreshPoint has immediate job openings for dependable warehouse staff (night selector). This is a warehouse position responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, labeling product using SOS label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires working 7am or 8am until end-of-shift until all product is accurately selected and loaded. Overtime hours and working weekends and holidays are required in order to successfully fill customers’ orders. Job requires working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions, and on selecting environment (Dry, Cooler, Freezer). Do you have what it takes to be a FreshPoint Warehouse Selector? • Our warehouse staff must be 18+ years of age • Our warehouse staff must have a High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent • Our warehouse staff must have 6 months’ warehouse experience • Our warehouse staff must have 6 months’ experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift • Our warehouse staff must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. • Our warehouse staff must be able to frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf areas. • Our warehouse staff must be able to hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer. • Our warehouse staff focus on our customers’ needs, which means often times starting work between {6:00 pm until end-of-shift} until all product is accurately selected and loaded. Metrology Mechanical Engineer - Calm Water Business Partner, LLC - 6/13/2019
We are seeking a highly-motivated, team-oriented, customer-facing Metrology Mechanical Engineer for our large corporate client, located near Hudson, MA. Responsible for mechanical hardware design, development and production of defense related combat system equipment. Will use state-of the-art tools, processes, technology, and Six Sigma principles on-site and at customer sites worldwide. Mentor and guide junior team members. Must have strong communication (verbal and written) skills, knowledge and experience with spatial analyzer software, laser trackers and peripheral equipment in a metrology and alignment field. Must be proficient with CAD software (Pro-E a plus) and MS Office. Domestic and international travel is required. Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, or Mathematics is required. Master’s is a strong plus. A minimum of two years mechanical and/or metrology experience in metrology and alignment field in various environments is required. Responsibilities include: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required, including flipping mattresses, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, deep cleaning carpet, touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, ensuring that all appliances are present in the room and in working order, cleaning and replacing light fixtures, and inspecting grout and caulking. Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines (e.g., GCPM, CARE, Make Ready Team, Perfect Room Team). Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment as required and miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
