Responsibilities include: Greet customers when they enter the shop, offer assistance in locating merchandise, and respond to questions regarding merchandise. Display merchandise in a neat, eye-appealing manner. Restock items as necessary, check expiration dates, and discard expired items. Keep storeroom neat and clean. Complete customer purchases, process all payment types, and process returns, refunds, and exchanges. Verify customer identification as required. Maintain appropriate cash levels in cash drawer, turn in all property monies and receipts, and ensure deposits/cash drops are verified. Follow checklist for opening and closing shop. Secure shop and monitor customer activity to prevent losses due to merchandise theft and damage. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Responsibilities include: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required, including flipping mattresses, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, deep cleaning carpet, touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, ensuring that all appliances are present in the room and in working order, cleaning and replacing light fixtures, and inspecting grout and caulking. Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines (e.g., GCPM, CARE, Make Ready Team, Perfect Room Team). Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment as required and miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Do you have what it takes to be a FreshPoint Warehouse Selector? • Our warehouse staff must be 18+ years of age • Our warehouse staff must have a High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent • Our warehouse staff must have 6 months’ warehouse experience • Our warehouse staff must have 6 months’ experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift • Our warehouse staff must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. • Our warehouse staff must be able to frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf areas. • Our warehouse staff must be able to hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer. • Our warehouse staff focus on our customers’ needs, which means often times starting work between {6:00 pm until end-of-shift} until all product is accurately selected and loaded.
